| Tasting Note | eRobert Parker : 90/100 (2012) Neal Martin The 2012 Echezeaux Grand Cru showed reduction on the nose, but seems to shake that off to reveal attractive, brambly blackberry and raspberry aromas intermixed with slightly acrid seaweed scents. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannins, well-judged acidity and a modicum of finesse toward the finish. It probably needs more chutzpah to convince as a top-flight Echezeaux, but it is full of freshness and tension. Drink 2017-2030. |
