The palate is extremely well balanced with superb tension--an animated, energetic Pouilly-Fuissé with the salinity to encourage you back for another sip. This will give so much pleasure over the next decade. Burghound (BH) : 92/100 Allen Meadows Here the mildly wood-inflected nose flirts with reduction so I would suggest decanting this if you're going to drink a bottle on release. This also possesses a relatively fine mouth feel as the overt mineral streak adds a sense of lift to the broad-shouldered and concentrated flavors that deliver fine depth and even slightly better length. This wine of finesse should also benefit from mid-term cellaring yet be approachable young too if desired.
