| Tasting Note | BH 91/100 (2007) A reserved, fresh and deeply pitched nose of red and blue pinot fruit cut with hints of earth, stone and violets serves as an elegant introduction to the sappy and serious medium-bodied flavors that are sappy, long and only moderately structured relative to what I typically find with this wine. The tannins are ripe and refined and because there is less concentration than in the '08, I expect that it will mature on the early side by the standards of a classic Bonnes Mares. |
