| Tasting Note | The wine is a fairly dark ruby, much lighter at the edge. The seductive nose has cassis, cedar, melted licorice, dried herbs, warm baking spices, cherries, minerals, leather, and tobacco. This has a medium body with moderate tannins and very good acidity. The palate features nice fruit and dried herbs, with a healthy dollop of spicy oak. The finish has decent length with the spicy oak laced fruit carrying most of the load. |
